In 2008, five percent of the company’s total revenue went to charitable institutions like Gawad Kalinga and the United Nation’s World Food Programme. IndieSign also set up livelihood programs for families left homeless by Typhoon Frank, in addition to sending relief goods, which made up seven percent of the total donations received by affected provinces. Furthermore, for the past two years of its operation, IndieSign has sponsored a number of social welfare programs, including those of the Department of Social Welfare and Development. In 2009, we set our sights on more remarkable projects to better serve our countrymen by extending a helping hand to those in dire need of support and care.
